Program Overview
WNC has been originating and facilitating commercial real estate and business loans since the Company was formed in 1999. Over that period of time, the Company has been involved in the over $2.0 billion of loans that have closed. WNC has developed an active Referral Partner Program which allows groups that generate commercial loan inquiries to benefit from those leads which will be handled professionally and expeditiously.
The WNC program has been designed to make it simple for our referral partners to participate. WNC referral partners should look at WNC as your commercial loan department.
Ideal Partners: Our ideal referral partners are residential mortgage bankers or realtors that have a significant commercial business.
Loan Types: WNC accepts referrals from commercial real estate loans, SBA loans ,USDA B&I loans, and commercial business loans.
Minimum and Maximum Loan Amount: On Commercial real estate loans, we generally have a minimum loan amount of $500,000 but there are exceptions when we may go as low as $250K. On business loans, depending on the loan type we can go as low as $100K.
Competitive Rates and Terms: WNC does business with over 150 lenders which include institutional lenders, private lenders, and funds and REIT’s. We work to get the best rate possible for the applicant
Referral Partner Responsibility: WNC makes it simple. Generate viable leads, complete a registration form. Once we have reviewed the registrationform, you arrange an introductory call. We take it from there.
Status Update: WNC keeps its referral partners abreast of the progress of the loan application until closed, turned down or withdrawn.
What Can the Partner Earn from a Referral ?
WNC makes it simple and fair, we split the total fee income from the transaction including:
Fees collected from the applicant
Referral Partner Fees paid by the lender
Packaging Fees Paid by the lender
Yield Spread Premium when we are able to sell a higher interest rate
Exception to the Spilt: WNC requires that we make a minimum of 1.0% on loans unless the loan amount exceeds $1.5 Million. On a $1.0 million dollar loan where we collect 1.5% in total fees, WNC would earn 1.0% and the referral partner would earn .50%.
